Breaking News June 14, 2011

PANDEMIC NEWS: These past couple of weeks, there have been several reports of deadly disease outbreaks in various parts of the world. What's different about these outbreaks is that they are far more virulent than from previous outbreaks. In Europe more than 30 people have died and hundreds sickened from E-Coli, and now this report from Calcutta, India about a very virulent strain of viral fever that has affected THOUSANDS already. The signs are getting very ominous and the days of plagues that kill by the millions may not be that far off.
KOLKATA (Calcutta): The city is in the grip of a viral fever that has affected thousands, including many in Ballygunge, Alipore and parts of central Kolkata. It has been leading to high fever accompanied by a severe lung and chest infection, often causing severe respiratory problems. Experts have been taken by surprise by the late outbreak of this viral epidemic which usually occurs during change of seasons.

The new virus is far more potent and different from the ones that have struck in previous years, said doctors. "This one has been attacking the respiratory system which makes it more risky. Patients have been suffereing from severe breathlessness along with an intense joint and muscle pain. Read More

ECONOMIC NEWS: As the following story proves the inmates are indeed running the asylum. Even a five year old could figure out that if a person or corporation or nation keeps borrowing and borrowing and borrowing, eventually those who keep loaning to these DEBT addicts will get burnt. Yet the Fed and the ECB and Central banks around the world keep capital flowing to keep the game of Russian debt roulette going for just a bit longer. But sooner or later there has to be someone that keels over and dies. It seems that the first corpse of the current Financial crisis will be Greece. Hoorah!!! - Go Greece go! This whole Financial system is one big fraud that rewards the criminals (Bankers) and penalizes the victims (average people everywhere). All nations should default. And all politicians who signed on the dotted line in the name of their citizens should be tried and made to eat cake ala Marie Antoinette.
Greece was branded with the world’s lowest credit rating by Standard & Poor’s, which said the nation is “increasingly likely” to face a debt restructuring and the first sovereign default in the euro area’s history.
The move to CCC from B reflects “our view that there is a significantly higher likelihood of one or more defaults,” S&P said in a statement yesterday. “Risks for the implementation of Greece’s EU/IMF borrowing program are rising, given Greece’s increased financing needs and ongoing internal political disagreements surrounding the policy conditions required.” Read more

AUSTERITY: Easy to talk about, much harder to enforce. I believe Austerity will eventually be enforced at the point of a gun as in the early days of the Soviet Union. The world of V for Vendetta may be closer upon the horizon for the US, much of Europe and most of the developed world for the people will not take the act of their robber barons (aka 'Political leaders') getting so blatant in their thefts that they are not even leaving any crumbs for the peasants. Protests are sure to become more and more violent, and it is only a matter of time before the heavy artillery comes out. Jobs are gone, pensions are gone, hope is gone, and like Gerald Celente says repeatedly when people have nothing left to lose, they lose it! Just watch how violently people are going to start losing it and how much more violently the powers that be will respond. What's coming to a neighborhood near you is ANARCHY. It would be wise to learn what this word means and to take some steps to prepare for it before it arrives, which may only be weeks or months away!

Britain is facing the biggest mass strikes in a generation, affecting councils, the NHS and schools, after the country’s largest public sector union said that 1.2 million of its members were “on the road to industrial action”. Ministers are drawing up emergency plans to protect hospital services amid fears that doctors will join a wave of action that could involve more than two million workers protesting against pension reforms. Hospital consultants will lose out most from a 3 per cent rise in public sector pension contributions and Whitehall officials are concerned that they will operate a work-to-rule or strike for the first time. Speaking before Unison’s annual conference next week, Dave Prentis, the general secretary, said that the union will call “the biggest ballot ever held in this country” for strike action. Up to 750,000… Read more

No wonder unions have been all but neutered in America in anticipation of such actions as being seen all across Europe. Such actions are also ongoing in other parts of the world such as Mexico but they take a different form, a very violent form as is happening in Mexico which in many areas looks like  war zone, a literal Mad Max world. As an aside what goes on in Mexico today is so horrific that I can't even bring myself to write about it! However Mad Max is coming to America, and on a scale that will make the Rodney King LA riots look like a Sunday picnic.

Most people will only believe that the End of the World is upon us when their own world comes to a crashing end, be it through war or natural disasters or a pandemic disease or famine. I have no doubt that these plagues are going to afflict every part of the world, sooner rather than later. Although I believe the trigger will be a Global Economic collapse, the fact is that there are so many triggers that can set the world on fire that it is near impossible to even think of them all, let alone list them. But some of the very major ones are as follows:

  • Collapse of the US dollar
  • One or more terrorist strikes on a scale bigger than 9-11
  • Breakout of one or more major wars, possibly nuclear
  • One or more pandemic outbreaks
  • Climate / Weather disaster on a scale that will shock the world
Matthew 24:7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places
Matthew 24:8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.
Revelation 6:8 And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.

So what is coming our way is that which Jesus termed 'The Beginning of Sorrows', and sorrows ain't happiness, sorrows ain't joy, sorrows ain't fun, sorrows ain't amusement. Sorrows are weeping, tears, heartbreak, lack, hunger, disease, violence and more...However these things must happen before the end so no use pretending everything will be fine when it is certain that things will be anything  but fine. Let us not be like ostriches and stick our heads in the sand and pretend things are great. Times are already perilous and prophesied to become much more so, but we who believe in The Omnipotent LORD God have great hope, and hope not just in this life but in that which is to come. So let us boldly face whatever may come our way; we have no means of keeping ourselves alive anyway even if the world were to continue another million years; so why not place our confidence in Him who has given us this life in the first place?
