Sinking Fish, Crashing Birds

These past 8 months a worldwide phenomenon has emerged where tens of millions of fish and marine life have died and washed ashore all over the world. It is possible that tens of millions more may have perished in seas far from coastal areas. Just in the past few days, a similar catastrophe is striking birds in regions of the world that are separated geographically by thousands of miles. What on earth and the seas and the skies is going on? In my entire life I have never heard so many reports of so much destruction of animal life in such a short period of time. Are these signs of trauma to the planet from unknown sources? Are these harbingers of that which may soon befall mankind? These are strange times we are living in, and they seem to be getting stranger by the day! I do not know the cause of these fish and birds dying off but I suspect that we will witness a great many more such catastrophic events in the months and years ahead. Although the 'Expert' being interviewed in the News Report makes it sound like millions of fish dying off are a normal occurrence, I would be skeptical of accepting such a simplistic explanation given the fact that the Maryland event was just one of many that have been occurring regularly this past year or so. Is there any connection to the Gulf oil disaster that has conveniently disappeared from the News? No one knows for sure but to me such strange happenings are anything but 'normal'. It has been foretold in scripture that the Lord God will show signs in the heavens above, and the earth beneath.... We can expect to see even stranger things in the near future that will signal the return of the Lord Jesus Christ to Earth.

Acts 2:19 And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke: 20 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and notable day of the Lord come: 21 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

The following article was printed today (Jan. 8, 2011) in the UK newspaper Mail Online. This report lists how many such inexplicable events of this nature have been experienced in our world in just the past few days, how all this can be explained away as 'norma' or 'natural' is beyond me.

Mystery of mass animal death epidemic deepens....

• Hundreds of confused birds plummeted to their deaths in multiple locations in the U.S. 
• Rapid movement of Magnetic North Pole towards Russia may have caused bird deaths

     8,000 turtle doves fell to the ground dead in Faenza, Italy, and were found to have a blue stain around their beaks.       Residents described seeing individual doves fall from the sky, before groups of 10 or 20 began hitting roofs and cars

• The world will not end without our LORD God giving us unmistakable signs that it is coming to an end.

Matthew 24:3  And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?

Yes, Jesus answered - in quite some detail as a matter of fact and gave a long list of unmistakable signs to give us an understanding of the times when those signs would come to pass. We are now living in the days when those events prophesied so long ago must come to pass. Therefore those who miss the signs and the even greater catastrophic events that are yet to come take them by surprise have no one else to blame but themselves...
