In the Groundhog Day World that we live in, Déjà vu seems to be the order of the day. Groundhog Day is a reference to a Bill Murray movie in which he keeps living the same day over and over again. The same arguments that were made in the case of Iraq almost ten years ago are being repeated in the case of Iran. Iraq (Iran) is developing Nuclear weapons, Iraq (Iran) has WMDs (weapons of mass destruction), and talks have failed, so it is time for bombs. Nine years after Iraq was invaded, Thousands of US and Allied soldiers have died but much more tragically, more than a million Iraqis have been massacred. The exact same script is being repeated in the case of Iran and yet the majority of people are unable to connect the dots. For 30 years, we have been hearing that Iran is an ‘Evil’ regime that is out to destroy the world. Yet there has not been one incident of any evil around the world that is attributable to Iran. The nation has been bombed, Cyber warfare has been conducted against its infrastructure, Economic Sanctions have made life miserable for average people in the country, yet the leadership shows remarkable restraint; except for some threatening words that have been repeated for 30 years, no actions has been taken against Israel or any other nation. Is this then a nation run by madmen, a leading member of the ‘Axis of Evil’ as President Bush II branded Iran?
Ronald Reagan called the Soviet Union the ‘Evil Empire’ but in 50 years the much hyped Soviet threat proved to be nothing more than hot air? So why then do we keep hearing of these ‘Evil’ nations that are a threat to our so-called Freedoms when in fact they have done no evil, at least to us? Are these just convenient excuses for an Empire run by Warmongers to bring about wars that no sane person would want? I do not believe the Iranians want a war being fully aware of what happened to neighboring Iraq? With the firepower that US / NATO have, Iran could be decimated in a day and I’m sure the Iranian leadership understands that fact. So as has been proven time and again; from Korea to Vietnam to Yugoslavia to Iraq to Libya, the real threat to world peace are not Mickey Mouse regimes around the world, no, the ones that are a threat are the ones that have the biggest guns, planes and ships, armaments that have been used all too frequently on defenseless civilians and armies alike. Watch some of the footage of the Vietnam War on the History Channel and see who the aggressors were, and who were the victims. As the following report from Reuters proves, Diplomacy is set to fail once again and a war against Iran seems inevitable. Could it be that the Cowboys from the Wild Wild West love to fire their guns so much that they go looking for targets, Iran (and Syria) being squarely in the crosshairs at this moment in time?

- (Reuters) - France voiced skepticism on Wednesday that a planned revival of talks between six world powers and Iran would succeed, saying Tehran still did not seem sincerely willing to negotiate on the future of its contested nuclear program.
The EU's foreign policy chief, who represents the United States, Russia,China, France, Britain and Germany in dealings with Iran, said on Tuesday they had accepted Iran's offer to return to talks after a standstill of a year that has seen a drift towards conflict in the oil-rich Gulf.
The talks could dampen what U.S. President Barack Obama has called a rising drumbeat of war, alluding to talk of last-resort Israeli attacks on Iran that he and many others worry would kindle a wider Middle East war and hammer the global economy.
