Wars and Rumors of Wars - The CFR calls for preemptive strike on Iran

Luke 21:9 But when ye shall hear of wars and commotions, be not terrified: for these things must first come to pass; but the end is not by and by.
Blogman's Notes: As prophesied by the Lord Jesus and many prophets and apostles, the end of this world will be explosive accompanied by mega wars on a Global scale. At the end of 2011, the world is in a much more warlike state than it was at the end of 2010. Regrettably these things must come to pass, and billions must die in the process - we wish it was some other way but it will not be so. There is not a whole lot that can be done to save oneself in this world except to put our faith in Jesus Christ who has promised us life, both in this world and the next.
Luke 21:36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

U.S. Fifth Fleet says won't allow Hormuz disruption(Reuters) - The U.S. Fifth Fleet said on Wednesday it would not allow any disruption of traffic in the Strait of Hormuz, after Iran threatened to stop ships moving through the world's most important oil route.

"Anyone who threatens to disrupt freedom of navigation in an international strait is clearly outside the community of nations; any disruption will not be tolerated," the Bahrain-based fleet said in an e-mail. Read more...

More on the IMF calls to destroy the Sovereignty of European nations

Blogman's Notes: In a previous post two days ago titled IMF head warns (again for the nth time) that Global Economy is threatened, I had come to the conclusion that the game plan for the international Bank-O-Rats or Bankocrats or Banksters as they have fondly come to be known is to use the Eurozone Crisis to create a Super Euro Government like the EU, actually it will be the EU Parliament with Dictatorial Powers that will rule Europe with an iron fist, much like Stalin controlling the whole Soviet Empire from Moscow. The end result would be the decimation of the European Middle Class and a descent into an Orwellian world that in reality would be far worse than anything Orwell could have imagined. Since the European contagion will spread to the whole world, 1984 will become reality sooner rather than later as has been planned by the wholly evil and corrupt Powers that be since the days when Nimrod's dream of ruling the world from the Tower of Babel was shattered by The LORD God. It is interesting to note that the EU symbolizes itself by the Tower of Babel. God gave man a variety of languages to save man from himself but the EU in defiance of the living God claims that it will speak with one voice. Not since the days of Nimrod has one person spoken for the whole world; tragically for the world this worldwide Economic crisis, now focused on Europe, will serve the purpose of ushering in the Antichrist beast that will once again unite the world under one person's rule but that person will be a hard taskmaster, and that world will be hell on Earth not Paradise!

Revelation 13:7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.
8And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

Good Article on the Tower of Babel and it's symbolization in the modern EU: Reversing An Act Of God With A Modern Tower of Babel

Genesis 11:1 And the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech.
2 And it came to pass, as they journeyed from the east, that they found a plain in the land of Shinar; and they dwelt there.
3 And they said one to another, Go to, let us make brick, and burn them thoroughly. And they had brick for stone, and slime had they for morter.
4 And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth.
5 And the LORD came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men builded.
6 And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.
7 Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another's speech.
8 So the LORD scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city.
9 Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the LORD did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did the LORD scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth.

Above on the left is a painting done in 1563 of the Tower of Babel, by Pieter Brueghel the Elder, a Flemish Northern Renaissance Painter. Below on the right is a poster produced by the European Union symbolically depicting their mission. It combines the 12 stars of the EU flag with the rebuilding of the tower of Babel with the motto Europe: Many Tongues One Voice. Note also that the stars are shown as inverted pentagrams, an occult symbol for Satan.

Happy Holidays - Sears to close dozens of stores due to poor sales!

Blogman's Notes: Despite much hype of an improving Economy in the US, the numbers would seem to prove otherwise. In time a  lot more retailers and car companies will shutter their doors for the truth of the matter is that 'Consumers' just don't have the money to keep on consuming at the voracious pace of the 1990's and the 1st decade of the 21st century. And if American and European consumers can no longer consume due to Austerity, where will the growth come from that is a must to keep the Economy alive? That is a rhetorical question, my readers do not need the answer to such questions, they know the answers all too well!
By Phil Wahba / Tue Dec 27, 2011 9:42am EST
(Reuters) - Sears Holdings Corp sales kept falling at the peak of the holiday season, and the retailer said it will close up to 120 stores in its Kmart and namesake chains to focus on stronger stores, sending its shares down more than 19 percent.

Sears also said it tapped its credit facility, with $483 million of borrowings outstanding as of December 23, compared to zero a year earlier, and said it expected smaller fourth-quarter earnings this year.
The company's shares were down $8.80 at $37.05.
Sales at Sears Holdings, whose chairman and top shareholder is hedge fund manager Edward Lampert, have fallen every year since it was formed through the merger of Sears and Kmart in 2005.
So far this holiday season, the drop has continued.

The Day After Tomorrow Tokyo type Hailstorm for real in Victoria, Australia

From The Extinction Protocol:

Wild Christmas weather: freak hailstorm wreaks havoc in Victoria, Australia Posted on

Violent white Christmas in VictoriaDecember 25, 2011 – AUSTRALIA – Storms pelted Victorians with hailstones as big as billiard balls during a wild Christmas Day barrage. The damage bill could run into tens of millions of dollars after hundreds of cars were bombarded, windows in homes and businesses were smashed and roofing was torn away. The State Emergency Service was called to more than 2500 jobs when a series of storm cells intensified dramatically in Melbourne in the afternoon. The worst was a tornado that hit Fiskville, near Bacchus Marsh, west of Melbourne. Severe thunderstorm warnings were issued for many parts of Victoria throughout the afternoon and evening, but the weather was expected to improve ahead of today’s Boxing Day Test at the MCG. Early this morning, a severe weather warning remained current for parts of southern New South Wales, including Wagga Wagga, Albury, Deniliquin, Cobar, Broken Hill and Wentworth. Around Melbourne yesterday, most calls to the SES were from Keilor Park, Keilor Downs and Taylors Lakes. Parts of Eltham and Greensborough were hit more than once and planes were grounded at Melbourne Airport. Lightning hit the 3AW transmission tower, knocking out its analogue signal and putting it off air to most listeners. About 77 passengers on a flight out of Darwin spent almost four hours at Sale airport after Qantas decided it was unsafe to fly into Melbourne. Metro warned commuters to expect major train delays, with most lines disrupted, and advised passengers to defer non-essential travel. The storm blacked out more than 5000 homes in Port Melbourne, Ballarat, Armadale, Toorak and South Melbourne as families sat down to Christmas dinner. A family in Apollo Rd, Taylors Lakes, had nine cars damaged and roof tiles and outdoor lights broken when the storm hit about 3.30pm. Robyn Sullivan said the hailstones had been almost as big as tennis balls. “It was like a roar as it came through,” she said. “I’ve never heard anything like it.” -News

Whoa! Japan and China bypassing US dollars - do direct currency trades

Blogman's comments: First it was Russia and China, now Japan and China! The next two largest economies in the world after the US have agreed to conduct trade in their own currencies. It seems that outside of the Wall Street BANK-O-RATS that make enormous profits from the US dollar trade, most of the world has come to the realization that it is not in their interest to hold US dollars and are now openly beginning to dump the greenback, which in fact is backed by NOTHING. And that is the problem! At any given moment the Dollar can go into a death slide and the trillions held by China and other nations will buy NOTHING. Since they are far too entangled in the Dollar snare to cut themselves loose suddenly, they are doing it slowly but even so the disentanglement is gathering pace. Watch for the sudden and catastrophic devaluation of the US dollar plunging the whole world into Deep DEPRESSION and plunging the developed world into 3rd world status overnight. Actually it will be worse than 3rd world status because unlike the 3rd world denizens that are used to surviving on next to nothing, developed world citizens are far too much in love with their Big Macs and fries, and their iPods and Starbucks lattes to withdraw from such a lifestyle without  going through severs withdrawals, fatal in many cases!

China, Japan to Back Direct Trade of Currencies

Japan and China will promote direct trading of the yen and yuan without using dollars and will encourage the development of a market for companies involved in the exchanges, the Japanese government said.

Japan will also apply to buy Chinese bonds next year, allowing the investment of renminbi that leaves China during the transactions, the Japanese government said in a statement after a meeting between Prime Minister Yoshihiko Noda and Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao in Beijing yesterday. Encouraging direct yen- yuan settlement should reduce currency risks and trading costs, the Japanese and Chinese governments said.
China is Japan’s biggest trading partner with 26.5 trillion yen ($340 billion) in two-way transactions last year, from 9.2 trillion yen a decade earlier. The pacts between the world’s second- and third-largest economies mirror attempts by fund managers to diversify as the two-year-old European debt crisis keeps global financial markets volatile.
“Given the huge size of the trade volume between Asia’s two biggest economies, this agreement is much more significant than any other pacts China has signed with other nations,” said Ren Xianfang, a Beijing-based economist with IHS Global Insight Ltd.
Currency Swap
China also announced a 70 billion yuan ($11 billion) currency swap agreement with Thailand last week as part of a plan outlined in October to promote the use of the yuan in the Association of Southeast Asian Nations and establish free trade zones.

IMF head warns (again for the nth time) that Global Economy is threatened

Blogman's' Note: As noted in some previous blog posts such as IMF head predicts 1930's style Depression and World War 3, Christine Lagarde is at it again warning of pending Economic Doom. Good to know that finally people in positions of power agree with some of us No-Names that have been warning of much the same for several years now.

But is she proposing a different solution this time, one that may actually work? No, she is regurgitating the same decades old propaganda that what Europe needs is more integration not less! She is proposing that Europeans give over their sovereignty to an unelected body of bankocrats, rather BANK-O-RATS that will share their own Dom Perignon and Beluga caviar lifestyle with all Europeans - where have we heard that one before? Alexander the Great and Julius Caesar must be pink with envy as all Europe is enslaved without so much as a shot being fired or an army crossing borders. Had Hannibal figured out that Economic conquest is far more efficient and far more profitable than a military conquest, it might have been Gaddafi that would have been sitting at the head of the Roman Empire or rather the Carthaginian Empire as it more accurately would have been known. It is rather symbolic that Europe which has ruled the world, more or less since the fall of the Persian Empire will be the first Empire to fall followed by the rest of the world. Let not the rest of the world cheer the fate of Europe, their own fate will not be much different!

PARIS (Reuters) - The head of the International Monetary Fund said the world economy was in danger and urged Europeans to speak with one voice on a debt crisis that has rattled the global financial system.
In Nigeria last week, IMF Christine Lagarde said the IMF's 4 percent growth forecast for the world economy in 2012 could be revised downward, but gave no new figure.
"The world economy is in a dangerous situation," she told France's Journal du Dimanche in an interview published on Sunday.

What to Expect After the Economic Collapse

From What To Expect From The Government After The Collapse

The following excerpts have been graciously contributed by Fernando Ferfal Aguirre and were originally published in his highly rated book The Modern Survival Manual: Surviving The Economic Collapse. You may also visit his web site at The Modern Survivalist.
Editor’s Note: Ferfal’s first-hand experience following the collapse of the Argentine economy in 2001 is one that should be reviewed and contemplated by all those concerned with a similar outcome in the United States or Europe. From bank runs, crime waves, and food shortages, to restrictive government policies and corruption, Ferfal details what you can expect when the end of the world as we know it becomes reality. For many, especially those just beginning their preparations, reserve food, water, guns, ammunition and off-grid survival supplies are keystones for emergency and disaster preparedness. While these are absolutely essential to a well rounded SHTF plan, Ferfal further expands on traditional ideas by incorporating modern survival strategies, especially for those living in urban settings, including topics such as securing your shelter, risk assessments, riots and looting, defensive driving, weapons selection, knife fighting and self defense, post-collapse financial opportunities, bartering, and reality-based anecdotes.
He also includes discussions on how you can expect your local and central governments to respond when chaos reigns supreme, supply shortages leave tens of thousands without food in their bellies, and the value of your currency is equivalent to toilet paper.
In light of recent developments in the USA and Europe, which suggest that governments are not only aware of the near-term possibility of currency meltdown, bank runs, and widespread rioting, but that they are preparing response plans which may include deployment of military personnel and detainment of citizens, Ferfal has allowed us to reprint portions of the relevant discussions on this topic to help you better understand what to expect and how you can prepare for it.

Hard times ahead for Canada warns PM Stephen Harper

From The Toronto Star:
Stephen Harper warns of tough times ahead in 2012

OTTAWA—Canadians could be in for some tough economic times in 2012, Prime Minister Stephen Harper is warning in a year-end interview with CTV.
“We have some major challenges in front of us,” Harper says to anchor Lisa LaFlamme in the interview, to be broadcast Monday at 7 p.m.
The Prime Minister makes repeated mention of hard economic decisions looming on the budget horizon and the lingering concern over how global insecurity is going to affect Canada.
“There’s going to be a whole range of areas where this government’s going to be taking issues over the next year to secure the sustainability of our key programs,” Harper says, “not just in terms of reducing the deficit but for our generation to come, and at the same time making some major reforms in various areas, so that we can continue to grow this economy and attract the capital that will create jobs for people.”

Bible Studies from Genesis to Revelation - New You Tube channel

This new channel is dedicated to studies in the book of Genesis and the book of Revelation. Understanding prophecy is near impossible without understanding origins; since there is much confusion among believers and unbelievers alike regarding origins and prophecy, it is important to understand the History of Creation accurately as taught in the Bible. Only by understanding the past, can we fully understand the prophesied future. Please share with all believers you know and make sure to comment and ask questions.

New Expanded War Zones stretching from North Africa to South Asia

More and more regions are in the firing line as 2012 dawns upon a rapidly darkening world. In Africa, Libya has already been decimated, Algeria and Tunisia are in a state of turmoil, Egypt's Arab Spring has already stretched into summer, autumn and winter with no end in sight. Now the true nature of the Newer-Kinder regime that replaced Mubarak is being revealed as being no less brutal than the former one; incidentally  this regime was so wildly cheered by Western media as the one that would bring Democracy, Freedom, Justice and Equality to the majority of the destitute Egyptians. Sadly as predicted, the average Egyptian is no better off if not much worse off than under Mubarak.

In the Middle East, Syria is certainly in the cross-hairs of US-NATO and will almost certainly experience a 'Liberation', as that of Libya in the new year. Whether this will lead to a wider conflagration that will bring World War 3 to the world in a year or two remains to be seen. But unlike Afghanistan, Iraq and Libya that were small nations, much bigger regional powers such as Syria, Iran, Israel, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Pakistan are now being targeted and in time US-NATO may find themselves facing much bigger conflicts involving military powerhouses such as Russia, China, and India. Os it would seem that the days of (Mega) wars are upon the horizon in 2012, and the world may be embroiled in a larger war than WW2 by mid-decade at the very latest. Sadly these wars that will bring unimaginable destruction to our world and will kill millions if not billions are only the BEGINNING OF SORROWS. If you can imagine it, even greater destruction awaits this evil world where man has given himself over wholeheartedly to wickedness and sin, where savage violence spreads like the water from a tsunami spreads over the surface of the earth.

So as we hear these rumors of Wars, and of pending wars and commotions, let us steel ourselves that this is only the Beginning of the End, the End is yet some distance off.

Luke 21:9 But when ye shall hear of wars and commotions, be not terrified: for these things must first come to pass; but the end is not by and by.
The end is not ‘By and By’ means that the end will not come immediately but will yet take much time after these major world wars have been fought.

Christchurch, New Zealand rocked by another series of quakes

Luke 21:11 And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.

I believe it to be more than symbolic that a city with the name of CHRIST-CHURCH has been quaking and shaking for over a year now with no let up in sight. Judgment begins at the house of God we read in the Bible; I believe the Christchurch quakes are a major sign from God of greater earthquakes and other catastrophes that will afflict not just this city but the entire world. New Zealand (and Australia) along with some Scandinavian countries are at the forefront of pushing through the New World Order agenda, which is abominable in the eyes of God. In my belief, these nations (along with most of the developed world), will face not just judgment but the wrath of God for they have used their material blessings to promote evil rather than good. God observes and warns and He observes and warns but is anyone listening? So when judgment comes, why do people blame God - O why is this happening to us they say when the warning signs were flashing red for decades not just a few days or months?

Strong quake rocks New Zealand's Christchurch
An earthquake measuring 5.8 strikes the city, closing airport and sending residents fleeing from buildings.

A series of powerful earthquakes has struck the New Zealand city of Christchurch, rocking buildings and sending residents fleeing on to the streets in a city still recovering from a deadly quake 10 months ago.
However, Christchurch appeared to have been spared major damage after the first 5.8-magnitude quake on Friday, which struck 26km northeast of Christchurch at a depth of 4.7km, the US Geological Survey said.

Police in the city said there were no reports of major casualties or widespread damage, although one person had been reported hurt at a shopping centre and taken to hospital.

The first quake, which struck at 1:58pm local time (00:58 GMT), was followed by a series of strong aftershocks. One of a similar magnitude hit 80 minutes later, the USGS said.

Electricity and telecommunications services have been disrupted in some areas.

A shopping centre has also been evacuated and residents were reported to be standing outside buildings.

The airport was closed but an official told local media it was expected to reopen later in the day after damage checks.

Protests continue in China over corruption, land grabs, pollution...

Protesting villagers in China win rare compromise

Guangdong's deputy Communist Partysecretary Zhu Mingguo told Wukan village protest leader Yang Semao Wednesday, Dec. 21 that four villagers being held by police during a protest would be released over the next few days, Yang told The Associated Press. (AP Photo, File)

BEIJING - (AP) -- Southern Chinese authorities have given in to key demands of protesting villagers after a nearly two-week standoff with police, agreeing in a rare compromise to release detainees and return some confiscated land to farmers.
Guangdong's deputy Communist Party secretary Zhu Mingguo told Wukan village protest leader Yang Semao on Wednesday that four villagers being held by police would be released over the next few days, Yang told The Associated Press.
"So now we are cautiously optimistic," Yang said.
The significance of the authorities' unusual concession in Wukan depends on how the details are played out, but it could affect the way other protests are handled, particularly in the corner of coastal southern China that has seen periodic unrest over the last few years. To Wukan's northeast, the coastal town of Haimen saw a second day of protests Wednesday over a planned coal-fired power plant.
Conflicts over land disputes and other issues in much of Guangdong province have been intense because the area is among China's most economically developed, pushing up land prices.
Underscoring the government's concerns about public discontent, China's security czar Zhou Yongkang met Wednesday with law and order officials and told them to improve the resolution of social conflicts and promote fair and honest law enforcement, state media reported.

Damascus morphs into Baghdad - deadly car bombs kill at least 30

Deadly car bombs rock Syrian capital
Authorities say at least 30 people killed by "al-Qaeda group", a day after arrival of Arab League observer mission.

A Syrian government official says at least 30 people, mostly civilians, have been killed by two suicide car bombs in Damascus ahead of calls by anti-government activists for fresh protests across the country.
At least 100 other people were wounded in Friday's attack on two security facilities in the Kfar Sousa district, Faisal Mukdad, Syria's deputy foreign minister, said.
State media reported that initial investigations indicated that an al-Qaeda group may have been responsible for the attack.
The station aired footage of damaged buildings and dead bodies being transferred to ambulances."Several soldiers and a large number of civilians were killed in the two attacks carried out by suicide bombers in vehicles packed with explosives against bases of State Security and another branch of the security services," Syria's state-run television said.
Syria has portrayed the nine-month uprising in the country as the work of "terrorist" extremists and armed gangs.
Al Jazeera's Rula Amin, reporting from neighbouring Lebanon, said the blasts marked the first such attack in the Syrian capital since the start of the uprising against President Bashar al-Assad. She described Friday's attacks as a "very serious escalation".
"The capital has been relatively quiet. If the government is trying to say this is the work of protesters or even al-Qaeda sympathisers, the attack is in the heart of the capital and that makes the government look very vulnerable," Amin said.
In another part of Syria, activists reported the death of eight people in the central city of Homs, where they said government forces fired at protesters leaving Omar Mosque in Jandali neighbourhood.

'Protocol of death'
