THE FUTURE HAS ARRIVED / prophecies being fulfilled? News 02-11-11

                      Weekly News Update / Feb. 11, 2011

SIGNS OF THE END OF THE WORLD: These words sound very ominous, and so they should, but those who put their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ understand that the purpose for which God gave us these signs is for us to know when the signs are being fulfilled or close to being fulfilled. Therefore it is important to be aware of current events transpiring in our world; for when these events begin to correspond with Biblical prophecy, then we will know that the time of the fulfillment of all things written is close at hand. For example in Luke 21:9 Jesus warned that … “when ye shall hear of wars and commotions, be not terrified: for these things must first come to pass; but the end is not by and by…” If we are not paying attention to what is going on in our world, how will we hear of wars and commotions and other signs that must be fulfilled before the end comes?

In past writings and audios I have repeatedly stated that the Bible does not teach that the end of the world means the end of the planet earth. The planet will continue for a long time after the world that presently sits upon it is gone. The best example I can offer is that of the time of Noah. In those days the planet saw catastrophic destruction but the Earth did not vanish. However, the world that then existed was completely and totally destroyed. The planet is a terrestrial body not made by man, but the world that sits upon it consists of cities, villages and other objects that are manmade; it is the manmade structures and everything built my man that will be destroyed as the world comes to an end as it did in the days of Noah. In the process of this destruction by various means, by man himself and by powers beyond his control, the Earth too will experience catastrophic destruction. I believe that the days in which the world will experience the type of destruction not seen since the days of Noah, and loss of human and animal life on a scale also not seen since the days of Noah, are close at hand. Therefore it is more important than ever before to watch closely that which is transpiring in our world and to prayerfully compare current events to scripture to accurately discern present day times and seasons. The Lord Jesus warned repeatedly not to be caught unawares by the long ago prophesied catastrophic destruction of this world.

It is for the purpose of making us aware so that these times do not overtake us as a thief in the night that we have been given unmistakable signs that would reveal to those who have the eyes to see, and ears to hear, that the end of the world is close at hand. The majority of the people in this world will continue leading their lives in the hypnotic trance that prevents them from understanding these signs; therefore this information is for the small remnant that are not deceived; the small remnant who are ‘watching and praying’, the small remnant who will not be overtaken as a thief in the night by the soon coming ‘End of the World’, and soon coming ‘Day of The Lord’, and the day of vengeance of our God

The prophetic signs of events that will comprise the ‘End of the World’ may be divided into the following categories (Please review my series of articles titled ‘Is this the End of the World’ for the reasons why these categories are relevant and important. News reports that fit these categories have been linked and prophetic Biblical references have been provided to prove that these events are pointing to an imminent fulfillment of all ‘End of the World’ prophecies recorded in the pages of The Bible.

In the following section, News reports have been grouped according to category. The heading has been linked to the original story and a brief synopsis has been provided. My comments and observations are in italics below the original report. Please click on the link to read the full story and / or to watch videos if included in the story.

  • ECONOMY / End of the world first and foremost means a total collapse of the Global Economy; the collapse of the US dollar, I believe, will be the trigger that signals the end of the world as we know it.

  • FAMINES / FOOD SHORTAGES / News about food related catastrophes, famines, food inflation etc.

  •  GEO – POLITICAL TENSIONS / News about war between nations, and civil war / social unrest within nations

  • EXTREME WEATHER / Climate related problems of a much greater than ‘normal’ severity

  • PANDEMICS / News of Pestilential infectious and fatal disease outbreaks

  • TECHNOLOGY NEWS / Advances in Technology plays a very important role in fulfillment of end times prophecies; it is therefore necessary to keep tabs on technological advances that are indicative of technology used in the Bible, especially the book of Revelation.

  • ANOMALOUS / PARANORMAL EVENTS / These are events that are neither seen as a norm nor can they be explained as normal occurrence; an example would be the numerous instances of birds falling dead out of a clear blue sky by the hundreds and even by the thousands.

ECONOMIC NEWS

  • Mcalvany Weekly Commentary / I highly recommend this audio program that airs weekly on Economic issues. I find the analysis to be profound yet presented simply enough that most ‘financially illiterate’ people can understand it. I suggest that rather than listening to CNBC or Bloomberg, listen to this audio program because it is factual and will be of much greater use to the average person in understanding what lies beyond the horizon in the realm of Economics and Finance.

  • The Great Global Debt Prison Our economy, our culture, our entire world, is built upon debt. No one ever asked us if that’s how we wanted it, it is simply how the system was designed when we came into it. • Inflation in manufacturing costs – goods to become more expensive BBC News The ONS said the rise in input prices was mainly due to a 28.8% annual increase in the price of crude oil. But imported raw materials such as metals was also a factor. The data suggests that next week's consumer price inflation figure will show a rise, also driven by January's rise in VAT. Alan Clarke, economist at BNP Paribas, said that it looked like inflation was becoming "engrained", adding: "It reinforces the case for higher rates." Read More

Borrower nations are not blessed of God, and the US is now the most indebted nation in the history of the world.

Corn and soybeans also advanced…Wheat has surged 82 percent in the past year as drought in Russia, floods in Canada and parched fields across Europe hurt crops. It is always the poorest that are hit the hardest since 50% or more of their meagre income has to go towards purchasing food. By food we do not mean steak and caviar but rather a bowl of rice or flour to bake some bread that is hardly enough for subsistence. This is why the perennially undernourished masses in India and other 3rd world countries look like walking skeletons and have a lifespan that is much shorter than the well fed middle class or the wealthy class.

Lamentations 4:4-5 The tongue of the sucking child cleaveth to the roof of his mouth for thirst: the young children ask bread, and no man breaketh it unto them. 5 They that did feed delicately are desolate in the streets: they that were brought up in scarlet embrace dunghills.

The major geopolitical News this week has been Egypt. I am not sure what to make of the ‘Revolution’ in Egypt. I know that revolutions are always manufactured for the benefit of the elite few, never for the benefit of the masses. As a matter of fact, in most cases the masses are far worse off than after a revolution, than they were before. I believe these problems in the Arab world will have far reaching implications, eventually leading to major wars in the region. Peace in the Middle East, and the rest of the world for that matter will remain illusory for a long while yet. I have been following this Middle East Peace process story from the time of Jimmy Carter, Menachem Begin and Anwar Sadat. It surprises me to no end that every American Administration as well as every British one, and most of the heavyweights of the Middle East region have been talking ‘Peace’ for close to 40 years now and all we get is more tension and more bloodshed. Yet it does not surprise me for I am well aware that there will be no peace until the Prince of Peace returns to claim His rightful Kingdom and Government rests upon His shoulders (Isaiah 9:6); till then the time is one of peace being taken from the Earth not one of peace being restored by the efforts of man.

Matthew 24:7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. Revelation 6:4 And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.

  • South African flood's death count: at least 123 Capetown - At least 123 people have died in floods across South Africa in recent weeks, reported the newspaper Business Day Monday, citing official sources. Government officials had, on January 18, set the death toll at 50. Officials also reported that 20,000 people are currently homeless due to the floods. Thirty-three communities in seven of South Africa's nine provinces have been declared emergency zones. The bulk of the victims have been in the eastern province of KwaZulu-Natal. The floods have also caused significant damage to South Africa's agriculture sector, with production of corn, sunflower seeds and raisins all affected. Read More

  • Drought in East Africa East Africa is about as far from the Central Pacific Ocean as a person can get without leaving the planet. And yet, as the Pacific chills, drought grips East Africa in classic La Niña style. Because of global teleconnections, La Niña has to power to affect the weather half a world away. This image, from France’s SPOT satellite, shows severe drought in Somalia, Kenya, and southern Ethiopia. The image is a vegetation anomaly, a measure of how well plants were growing compared to average. This image compares plant growth between January 1 and 10, 2011, compared to the average growth for January between 1999 and 2009. Widespread brown is an indication that plant growth slowed, with fewer photosynthesizing leaves than average. Read More

  • Reaching for the sky to open the heavens By Wang Qian (China Daily) Updated: 2011-02-10 07:21 BEIJING - Local meteorological departments have resorted to weather manipulation to relieve the drought in major wheat-growing areas in central and northern provinces. Read More
The above story confirms the reality of ‘Weather Manipulation’ / ‘Weather Control’, and ‘Weather Warfare’. Records going back to the late 1940’s prove experimentation in weather control / weather warfare, and some allege that such experimentation goes back even further to the late 19th century and the science of Nikola Tesla. When a mainstream News agency uses the term ‘weather manipulation’ it leaves no doubt that such technology is being employed and since man rarely uses technology for benevolent purposes only, there can also be no doubt that such technology is being used for malevolent purposes. Is use of such technologies the real reason why we have suddenly started experiencing unusually extreme weather all around the globe? There is nothing unusual about winter storms, cyclones, floods and other severe weather at all times of the year. What is unusual about the extreme weather being reported in early 2011 is the magnitude of the storms, cyclones, floods etc. Cyclone Yasi that recently hit NE Australia was one of the most powerful cyclones on record, the winter storm that blanket a large portion of The US and Canada was described by the US Weather service as one of ‘historic proportions’, and the floods in Queensland, Australia were classified as being of ‘Biblical proportions’. It is such terminology that drives home the point that these are not normal weather problems but of a much greater magnitude; does man’s technology have something to do with this growing problem? We may never find the answer to that but extreme weather is definitely getting more extreme.

PANDEMIC NEWS
Not much new News to report in this category this week. However I am certain that later this year or perhaps in 2012, Swine flu or some sort of influenza outbreak will bring back haunting memories of the Spanish flu outbreak of 1918.

Luke 21:10 Then said he unto them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: 11 And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.

TECHNOLOGY  NEWS

  • Integration of Man and Machine This video which seems to have been lifted straight out of the movie ‘Minority Report’ is showing the development of technologies that will meld man and machine together. These technologies have to be mass produced and marketed before the prophecies of the ‘Mark of the Beast’ of Revelation 13:16-18 will be fulfilled

  • Meet Big Dog: The Rough Terrain Robot. The following video is an example of the manufactured mechanical nature of some of the creatures described in the book of Revelation, for instance, the locusts that come out of the bottomless pit.

Revelation 9:1–3 And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth: and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit. 2 And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit. 3 And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth: and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power.
From their description, these locusts are not what we would consider to be natural creatures. It is almost certain that they are manufactured. Technologies such as those shown in the video above are already advanced enough to manufacture the ‘locust’ army of Revelation 9:1–11 .

At the end of 2010, the last article I posted on my blog was titled 2011 Predictions. I am truly surprised by how many of the events that were expected to transpire based on Biblical prophecy have already come to pass in just over a month in 2011. Are we witnessing, or will we be witnessing the beginning of the end of the world in the very near future? It is a bit too early to declare that this is indeed the case but there may not be much doubt left by the end of this year if events continue to unfold as they have at the beginning of the year.
