In part 1 of this series it was proven that there exists a great deal of irrefutable Biblical, Mythological, Astronomical, Geological and Archaeological evidence to prove that ‘Civilization’ began a lot earlier than recorded history can be dated. There are historical accounts written in stone, both pictorial and in known and unknown languages that keep record of strange creatures, even of futuristic looking machinery, of flying craft, of cosmic battles and much more. In our own world stone monuments that take a great deal of time and labor to construct are built to commemorate actual events, mostly related to victory in war; thus they are historical records of actual events. It stands to reason that rock paintings, stone carvings and massive ancient structures such as the pyramids are not monuments to fiction. These are a silent testimony to the history of actual peoples and events witnessed by the inhabitants of that time who kept record of the events they witnessed firsthand; events that had a dramatic effect on them and inspired them to make record of the events by any means available to them, even rock paintings. This history recorded in stone does not fit the fictional history of the Universe, and of the world, as taught in the halls of Ivy League institutions of higher indoctrination, generally misrepresented as institutions of higher learning. Such geological, archaeological and even mythological evidence should be viewed as the history of past ages, ages that predate the modern age, which is roughly 6000 year old.
The above video is a good sampling of the information contained in thousands of years old ancient mythological texts such as the Hindu Vedas describing possible nuclear warfare, space flights, spacecraft, energy weapons, flying cities and much more that would be impossible to imagine without a realistic frame of reference
There are four mythological Ages of creation as accounted by the Greeks and the Hindus, the Greeks gave the four Ages names of metals, Gold, Silver, Bronze and Iron. I want to reiterate that I do not believe that mythological texts and legends are absolute truth; just that there is some truth in them. It is by comparing mythological accounts to Biblical records that we can piece together a fairly accurate and detailed account of prehistory; history that predates the modern age, which is about 6000 years old. In part 1 of this series it was determined that the Golden Ages of the Greeks and the Satya Yuga of the Hindus correspond to the Age from the beginning of creation to the birth of evil when iniquity was found in the anointed cherub as recorded in the book of the prophet Ezekiel in chapter 28. To understand the existence of advanced civilizations in Prehistoric Ages, and to calculate a timeframe for their origin, rise, and downfall it becomes necessary to go back in time to the beginning of ‘Time’ itself. When was the ‘Beginning’, and what was first created in the beginning?
IN THE BEGINNING
There are two verses in the Bible that begin with these words, IN THE BEGINNING...
The two scriptures previously quoted are a record of two different Beginnings; they are not a record of the same event. Genesis 1:1 records the beginning of the creation of Matter and therefore the beginning of the Universe, whereas John 1:1 is a record of the Intelligence that predates all Matter, the intelligence that was exercised to bring Matter itself into existence. Therefore the Bible does not calculate the beginning from the creation of Matter, and of the Universe, but rather from the Cause of Creation, which is the Word, the Logos, the Reason, the Logic, and the Seed that initiated the process of creation and sustains it to this very day. He is both the cause of creation, and the energy that binds and holds all creation together.
- Colossians 1:16 For by him (the Word, the Language, the Intelligence) were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: 17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.
- ‘In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God’. (John 1:1)
According to the Bible, the beginning of all things is the Word, the Intelligence, the Language, the Speech, the Thought(s), the Idea(s), the Concept(s), the Design(s), the Blueprint(s), the Software, the Program, the Code, the Genetics that define all creation, and without which nothing could exist. The Bible does not teach that everything that exists came out of nothing. The doctrine of Ex-Nihilo creation is not a Biblical one. Ex-Nihilo is a Latin expression that means ‘out of nothing’ but the Bible tells us everything was created out of something that cannot be seen; the Word of God, the seed of all creation is not a material thing made out of atoms or molecules that can be seen, He is invisible intelligent energy that can bring anything into existence that He expresses when He speaks.
- Hebrews 11:3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. This verse of scripture completely negates the doctrine of Ex-Nihilo creation taught in so many seminaries and Bible colleges.
- Psalm 33:9 tells us, “For he spake, and it was done; he commanded, and it stood fast.” God’s speech is energy not human sounds, and it is through his energy and power that everything came into existence.
Unlike mythological and scientific beginnings that are traced back to the beginning of Matter, the Bible marks the Beginning from the Cause of the Beginning, that cause being the language (or program in computer terminology) that defined everything before anything came into existence. The idea of the ‘Seed’ of creation termed the ‘Cosmic Egg’ is found in the mythologies of many cultures especially in Hindu mythology and it also forms the basis for the Big Bang theory. The difference between mythology and science as compared to the Bible is that the Creator of the egg or the original Seed (called ‘singularity’ by science) is not identified in mythology and is denied by science. However the concept of growth, as of a chick hatching from an egg and reaching maturity in time, is common to all accounts of origins, none of them claim that everything just sprang up instantaneously.
Getting back to the Biblical record of the beginning, ‘In the Beginning’ God wrote the program, the algorithms that defined creation before anything actually came into existence. This Word or Seed of Creation is not dead letters or sounds, it is a living language like that of DNA, and without the language of life to define life there would be no life. If there was no DNA to define what our cells should be, we simply would not exist and that principle applies to all of creation. Creation is a product of intelligence expressed as language, as energy released through speech. It makes total sense that the intelligent Creator would define beforehand what He planned to form and mould in the process of time.
THE ORDER OF THE CREATION OF THE HEAVENLY BODIES
Having determined that God wrote the programs, the algorithms of matter before the formation of Matter, we can move ahead to the beginning of the Universe as recorded in Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the Heaven (singular) and the Earth. This verse of scripture is often mistranslated in many Bible versions as ‘In the beginning God created the heavens (plural) and the earth. This would seem to give the impression that God created the entire Universe in one fell swoop, as if He waved a magic want and all the planets and start and moons and all heavenly bodies filled the Universe to infinity. However the order of creation in the Bible is as follows:
- The Heaven (as in the city of Heaven from which God rules and reigns the Cosmos, I call this the command and control centre of the Universe.)
- Intelligent Life as in angelic spirit beings and flesh and blood Humans, not Adamic mankind, but the prehistoric humans the Bible calls ‘sons of God.’
- The planet Earth.
- The rest of the heavenly bodies (planets, stars, star systems, galaxies and the Universe in the course of time, possibly in the billions of years, maybe even longer.)
Some readers and listeners may consider these interpretations to be radical but I will provide adequate Biblical proof to support these conclusions. Before I get to the Biblical evidence of this order of creation; let me offer some scientific and mythological proofs that also suggest that heavenly bodies have been added over time to the Universe, they did not all spring up at once. Scientists theorize, and generally agree, that the Universe does indeed have a beginning. This consensus was only recently arrived at; until as late as the 1950’s the scientific consensus was that the Universe did not have a beginning, they promoted the ‘Steady State’ theory that hypothesized that the Universe has no beginning or end, even though it may be going through constant change. The ‘Big Bang’ theory first introduced in 1927 gradually gained acceptance and is now is the most widely acknowledged theory of origins proposed by cosmologists and physicists. The ‘Big Bang’ theorises that the Universe is expanding (stretching); so if we extrapolate backwards in time it must once have been contracting till it reached a point in time when it could contract no more. This would be the point of the beginning; having observed that there was a beginning, scientists then theorised that heavenly bodies such as planets and stars grew out of the Big Bang, they did not all appear instantaneously. Mythological accounts of creation also do not record that everything sprang up instantaneously but suggest that there was some sort of order in which the Cosmos came into existence. Understanding the order of creation greatly also helps in understanding prehistory; there was a specific order in which civilizations arose in the distant past; and specific reasons for their downfall.
- Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
The Biblical Order of the creation of heavenly bodies: It is commonly assumed (erroneously in my opinion), that the Bible teaches that God formed the entire Universe simultaneously. I believe the correct order of God’s creation begins with one city called The Heaven and one planet called The Earth. The book of Genesis and the book of Revelation are book ends of the Bible and there are a great number of parallels between them. For instance, God has promised that He is going to make new ‘Heavens’ (plural) and a new Earth. Isaiah 66:22 For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain. Revelation 21:1 tells us that the creation of the new Universe begins with a single city of Heaven and a single planet called the Earth. The apostle John wrote: And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. Like the new Universe, the old Universe began with the creation of the Heaven, as in the city of Heaven from which God rules and reigns the Universe, and the Earth. Again some might argue that the current Heaven is a planet as opposed to a city but that would be scripturally incorrect. The Bible tells us that the first Heaven, the current Heaven is a city and this may be proven by the following scriptures:
- Psalm 46:4 There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High.
- Psalm 48:8 As we have heard, so have we seen in the city of the LORD of hosts, in the city of our God...
- Hebrews 11:10 For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God.
- Hebrews 11:16 But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.
- Hebrews 12:22 But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels...
The idea of a Heaven and an Earth being formed prior to the other heavenly bodies that form the present Universe is found in both Hindu and Greek mythology. The Hindu mythological and philosophical texts claim that the Universe sprang from a Cosmic egg or Golden womb beginning with Heaven and Earth. The following is a quote from a Wikipedia article:
The Rig Veda (RV 10.121) uses a similar name for the source of the universe: Hiranyagarbha, which literally means "golden fetus" or "golden womb". The Upanishads elaborate that the Hiranyagarbha floated around in emptiness for a while, and then broke into two halves which formed Dyaus (Heaven) and Prithvi (Earth) - concepts that existed in nearly every ancient culture, and were also articulated by the Abrahamic religions. (Genesis 1:1).
HEAVEN AND EARTH NOT CREATED SIMULTANEOUSLY
How do we know that the city of Heaven and the planet Earth were not formed simultaneously but rather in a specific order? The answer is to be found in the book of Job and also in Proverbs. Proverbs 8:22-31 details the formation of the Earth, and what becomes clear from this passage, among others in the Bible, is that the Earth was not created instantaneously by the waving of a magic wand. Proverbs 8 in particular provides great detail as to the actual process of the formation of the Earth from the laying of the foundation of the planet to creating and setting bounds for the atmosphere, to filling the seas with water to forming rivers and mountains and more. This is a very scientific description of the terraformation of a planet and one thing it proves beyond doubt is the detail of the planning and the process of the actual formation that must have taken some period of time, days months, years, we do not know exactly how long. This passage in Proverbs also confirms the fact that knowledge, wisdom, planning, designing, words and language preceded the actual formation of the material Universe.
Proverbs 8:23: I (meaning WISDOM) was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, or ever the earth was.
The above scripture is a confirmation of John 1:1 (in the beginning was the Word...) that Matter did not arise out of nothing or out of pre – existing Matter but rather out of the Language of Creation that is not like a human language, mere symbols and sound but a living language that has power, the energy required for the creation of Matter, a perfect example of this language is the language of DNA without which there could be no genes and therefore no Genesis of life. The following short video shows the amazing process of DNA replication; did all this just happen by chance or was it The Word of God (his language) that was written on every cell and every particle of Matter from which organic and inorganic life sprang?
The process of the formation of the Earth as detailed in the Bible begs the question that would not the same process have been followed for other planets such as Mars or Jupiter or Saturn? Would these heavenly bodies, and all heavenly bodies, for that matter, not also have been carefully planned and formed for a specific purpose as the Earth? To answer that question we need to answer for what purpose was the Earth formed by the LORD God? The answer to this question is found in the following scripture:
- Isaiah 45:18 For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited...
I expounded in part 1 on the meaning of the word VAIN in this scripture that it is the same word as the word VOID that describes the state of the earth in Genesis 1:2. So we are told the earth was not originally formed as an empty wasteland but became so as a result of some catastrophes that I will discuss later in this series. The idea of the perfection of creation in the beginning is common to the Bible and mythology. When we think about it, why should it not have been perfect when it was made by perfect intelligence and power? So there truly was a Golden Age of creation that lasted a long long time and to understand the events of that Age and the reason for its demise we need to continue exploring the chronology of the creation of heavenly bodies as noted in scripture and supported by evidence from mythological texts and oral legends.
The previously quoted scripture from the book of the prophet Isaiah confirms the fact that from the very beginning the earth was formed to be inhabited, the question is by whom? As we shall presently see the future inhabitants of the planet were already in existence even before the foundation of the earth was laid.
- Job 38: 4-7 4. Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding. 5. Who hath laid the measures thereof, if thou knowest? or who hath stretched the line upon it? 6. Whereupon are the foundations thereof fastened? or who laid the corner stone thereof; 7. When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?
This passage is very telling because it reveals that intelligent life predated the laying of the foundation of the earth. Does it not seem reasonable that if the ‘morning stars’, and the sons of God were created before the Earth was formed that they were originally created in Heaven? So then would the correct order of creation not be as I mentioned at the beginning of this article?
- First of all the Heaven was created,
- Then intelligent life, both angelic and flesh and blood was formed
- And after that the Earth which was meant to be inhabited by the intelligent life that was already in existence at that time was formed.
It seems obvious that the Earth was meant to be inhabited by either the morning stars or the sons of God or both. So who are the morning stars and who are the ‘sons of God’? Are they the same species or they different kinds of intelligent creatures? In my understanding the ‘morning stars’ are angels and the ‘sons of God’ are prehistoric flesh and blood humans. I will provide Biblical proofs for this assertion later in this series. I will further assert that the original Earth was formed to be inhabited by the prehistoric humans, the ‘sons of God’ not by angels.
The Bible tells us that God has created worlds, invisible and visible, dimensions invisible and visible. The invisible dimension is the dimension of Energy, the visible dimension is the dimension of Matter. Angels are creatures of Energy whereas humans are creatures of Matter. Creatures of energy dwell in the celestial dimensions whereas creatures of Matter, flesh and blood dwell in the terrestrial dimensions. The Bible tells us that everything was created by God by His Word, by His Logos. Logos is the root word for logic, it would be logical to surmise that terrestrial worlds such as the Earth were formed to be inhabited by terrestrial beings. It would stand to reason that there have existed flesh and blood humans right from the beginning, and the only creatures that fit the bill from a Biblical perspective are the ones identified as the ‘sons of God’ in the Bible. I know this will be controversial viewpoint for many readers but I will give much evidence to prove this contention later in this article or in this series; all I ask is for readers and listeners to examine the evidence for themselves to arrive at their own conclusions.
For the present I want to continue by providing more evidence that there is a definite order in which the Universe came into its present form and it may indeed be billions of years old as science contends. The idea of planting, of laying the foundation, of building of the heavens and the heavenly bodies is to be found throughout scripture, which clearly indicates a process occurring over time not instantaneously. The following list is a list of just a few verses of scripture that reveal the principle of planning and gradual growth of the Cosmos as opposed to instantaneous formation.
- Isaiah 51:16 And I have put my words in thy mouth, and I have covered thee in the shadow of mine hand, that I may plant the heavens, and lay the foundations of the earth, and say unto Zion, Thou art my people.
- Psalm 102:25 Of old hast thou laid the foundation of the earth: and the heavens are the work of thy hands...
- Hebrews 1:10 And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands...
- Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
- Job 38:4 Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth?.
- Proverbs 8:29 When he gave to the sea his decree, that the waters should not pass his commandment: when he appointed the foundations of the earth...
- Isaiah 40:21 Have ye not known? have ye not heard? hath it not been told you from the beginning? have ye not understood from the foundations of the earth?
- Isaiah 48:13 Mine hand also hath laid the foundation of the earth, and my right hand hath spanned the heavens: when I call unto them, they stand up together.
In the next part of the series I will expound on the gradual growth of the Universe through expansion of Space to fit new heavenly bodies as they were being formed, one by one. These heavenly bodies were not formed and left as uninhabited wastelands but were filled with life, which formed cities and civilizations spreading across the galaxies, very much like shown in a Star Wars movie.
Hi Paul,
ReplyDeleteWe started listening to your teachings via Randy Maugens show. We would like to thank you for the very informative way you deal with issues form the Word of God. My husband has 2 questions which he would appreciate an answer on.
1. In the Preadamic ages 2 series you make a statement that the races we have on earth today do not all stem from Noah and his sons, but that the sons of God married and had children with women on earth. Because these sons could be of a different race you say that is why we have the various races on earth today. What about Acts 17v26?
2. In 2 Cor 12v2 Paul talks about the 3rd heaven which is called paradise. It seems this is a place or a state of the faithful souls between death and the resurrection where they are admitted to immediate communion with God in Christ and to partake of the tree of live which is in the middle of paradise. I assume the 1st heaven will be God's command station as you call it. Do you have any idea about the 2nd heaven?
Hope to hear from you soon.
