Thai floods dent confidence in government

Flooding has inundated much of Thailand's agricultural heartland, paralysed hundreds of factories and threatened to burst into the capital.
Only days after some officials indicated the worst threat had passed, flooding in areas directly north of the city worsened.
Bangkok's city government is now urging residents in seven northern districts to move belongings to safe spots.
The mixed messages from the government have left people confused about the threat and decimated confidence in the government that took power in August.
Al Jazeera's Azhar Sukri reports.
