January 2011 will be behind us in one day; it seems like time is passing at breakneck speed, seems just like yesterday that the world was celebrating (and some were dreading) the arrival of the New Millennium along with the mass hysteria of Y2K. Since then we have had 911, Afghanistan, Iraq, SARS, Avian flu, and Swine Flu outbreaks, the 2004 Tsunami and many massive earthquakes, Biblical proportion floods, the biggest Economic crisis the world has ever seen and more unrest in the Arab world than ever before in history. So this century and this millennium seem to be following a catastrophic course from climate, social and economic perspectives. However all that has transpired in the past ten years seems to have been compressed and released with great force in the 31 days of January 2011. It has been the most active beginning to any year that I can remember. With one month out of the year behind us and 11 months left to go, what else does 2011 have in store for this world? If January is any indication, there is much in store and little if any of it will be worth cheering.

From extreme cold in the Northern hemisphere to extreme flooding in the southern, this January has been the most active and catastrophic January for as long as I can remember. Although there was no one single event that caused a massive loss of life like the Haiti earthquake in Jan. 2010, the long term effects of Jan. 2011 weather disasters will probably prove to be much more catastrophic than that terrible event from last year.

Signs of the end of the world: These words sound very ominous, and so they should, but those who put their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ understand that the purpose for which God gave us these signs is for us to know when the signs are being fulfilled or close to being fulfilled. Therefore it is important to be aware of current events transpiring in our world; for when these events begin to correspond with Biblical prophecy, then we will know that the time of the fulfillment of all things written is close at hand. For example in Luke 21:9 Jesus warned that … “when ye shall hear of wars and commotions, be not terrified: for these things must first come to pass; but the end is not by and by…” If we are not paying attention to what is going on in our world, how will we hear of wars and commotions and other signs that must be fulfilled before the end comes? 

In past writings and audios I have repeatedly stated that the Bible does not teach that the end of the world means the end of the planet earth. The planet will continue for a long time after the world that presently sits upon it is gone. The best example I can offer is that of the time of Noah. In those days the planet saw catastrophic destruction but the Earth did not vanish. However, the world that then existed was completely and totally destroyed. The planet is a terrestrial body not made by man, but the world that sits upon it consists of cities, villages and other objects that are manmade; it is the manmade structures and everything built my man that will be destroyed as the world comes to an end as it did in the days of Noah. In the process of this destruction by various means, by man himself and by powers beyond his control, the Earth too will experience catastrophic destruction. I believe that the days in which the world will experience the type of destruction not seen since the days of Noah, and loss of human and animal life on a scale also not seen since the days of Noah, are close at hand. Therefore it is more important than ever before to watch closely that which is transpiring in our world, and to prayerfully compare current events to scripture to accurately understand present day times and seasons. The Lord Jesus warned us repeatedly not to be caught unawares by the long ago prophesied catastrophic destruction of this world, that we should be fully aware when the days of destruction are upon us.

The Trouble with being ‘Normal’

There is a saying that the road to hell is paved with good intentions, and I have to agree that this is indeed the case, particularly for so – called ‘Normal’ people. The following article was originally written back in 2009 under the title, Ignorance is not Bliss, ignorance in Fatal’. There is a message in this article about being ‘Normal’ that does not necessarily come through with that title. Therefore I am printing it again with a new title that emphasizes the word, NORMAL. Being ‘Normal’ is dangerous, even fatal for a person’s spiritual condition; ‘Normal’ people sleep their way through life, being too fearful of being different, and one day wake up in hell, wondering how they got there. ‘Normal’ people believe that as long as they live a ‘decent’ life, and don’t hurt anyone, they will be OK with God after they die. The problem is that all the ‘Normal’ things that they spent their lives pursuing prevented them from understanding their existence, from understanding the value of the life that they had been gifted with, and more importantly, understanding that their Creator had expectations of them that are diametrically opposed to the expectations of a ‘Normal’ world. The trouble with ‘Normal’ is that it just ain’t true although it can be comfortable for a season. Those who do speak the truth are ignored or crucified but in either case the truth does not change. Though being ‘Normal’ (being just like everybody else) can be blissful for the short duration of one’s lifetime but the consequences are eternal, and that dear readers is THE TRUTH. Everyone is going to find that out the truth one day but one can only benefit from this truth if one acts upon it in this life, for there is no such thing as ‘Normal’ in the next one. One can be ‘Normal’ or one can be ‘Godly’, the choice is yours to make.

We have been given unmistakable signs that would reveal to those who have the eyes to see, and ears to hear, that the end of the world is at hand. The majority of the world will continue leading their lives in the hypnotic trance that prevents them from understanding these signs; therefore this information is for the small remnant that are not deceived; the small remnant who are ‘watching and praying’, the small remnant who will not be overtaken as a thief in the night by the soon coming ‘End of the World’, and soon coming ‘Day of The Lord’.

The prophetic signs of the ‘End of the World’ may be divided into the following categories (Please review my series of articles titled ‘Is this the End of the World’ for the reasons why these categories are relevant and important. News reports that fit these categories have been linked and prophetic Biblical references have been provided to prove that these events are pointing to an imminent fulfillment of all ‘End of the World’ prophecies recorded in the pages of The Bible. 

• In the following section, News reports have been grouped according to category (category headings have a red font and are highlighted in yellow). The heading has been linked to the original story and a brief synopsis has been provided. Information most relevant to the category or quotes from informed sources are in a bold red italicized font. Death of the 'Family Farm' / Genocide for Profit

The following article was originally written in Feb. 2010 to bring to readers' attention the rapidly escalating Food inflation problem that may or not lead to food shortages but will still cause multitudes to die of hunger because they just will not be able to afford even a subsistence level diet. I decided to post this article once again after reading this headline on Yahoo New, reported on Jan. 17, 2011:

 THE FAMILY FARM: “A family farm¹ is a farm owned and operated by a family, and passed down from generation to generation. It is the basic unit of the mostly agricultural economy of much of human history and continues to be so in developing nations. Alternatives to family farms include those run by agribusiness², colloquially known as factory farms³, or by collective farming⁴.” Land ownership as symbolized by the Family Farm has meant individual freedom since the days of Cain and Abel. Immigrants from Europe flocked to the shores of America to pursue this impossible to achieve dream in the old world ruled by greedy feudal lords, kings and the Pope. They gladly suffered extreme hardship making America west of the Mississippi into the granary of the world. Family farms in most parts of the world were small tracts of land cultivated by one family that provided employment to the family but more importantly, fed them as well. Even a few acres of land yielded enough crops to feed the family with some left over for bartering purposes, and larger farms grew grains etc. for trade with neighboring countries. The economies in rural areas were self contained with little or no dependence on outside trade, at least where food stuffs were concerned. This was a model that lasted for nearly 5000 years and whilst it was far from perfect, it is the one model that was historically the most egalitarian. A man who does not have to rely upon another for his basic sustenance is an IN-DEPENDENT person and can live life with dignity due to all men that have been created ‘equal’. Ownership of land in the form of ‘family farms’ has been the only real avenue available to the masses for freedom and independence.

As a matter of fact till the Johnson administration changed the definition of poverty to a number linked to an arbitrary dollar amount, poverty meant not being a land owner, that’s it! Despite their high sounding egalitarian ideals, framers of the constitution firmly believed in ‘class’ and thought some classes of society to be less equal than others, and therefore not fit to be land owners, this is the real reason for the phrase, ‘Pursuit of Happiness’ in the constitution. This phrase is so subjective as to be almost meaningless; there was much debate whether the original phrase, ‘The Right to Own Property’ should be included in the constitution. Tragically the norm in human society has been feudal slavery not independence and individual freedom. I believe we are now entering a ‘Brave New World’⁵ of Agribusiness², factory farming not family farming that is not only bringing back the feudal societal structure of the dark ages but is a harbinger of even darker tidings. It would be safer to compare the transformation taking place in farming today with the Soviet Agro collectivist farming of the Stalin era. Even that comparison may not suitably reveal the dire situation confronting the world today where food production, and more importantly, food distribution is concerned. When the very reason for the production of food is to make a profit, fatten the bottom line, then production of food for sustenance of the population becomes of little or no concern to the agribusiness, but it should be of great concern to the population.

Worth a Second Read / US & Global Food Price Inflation

The following article was originally posted on April 25, 2010 predicting substantial food price inflation in the US and globally. It seems like that which was then in the future is now in the present. The following report from Fox News in Jan. 2011 confirms that which many people had expected to see happening sometime this year or in 2012. I believe what we are witnessing today is still the preview - the actual FOOD CRISIS, rather FOOD CATASTROPHE is yet in the future, and will not come into full view till the summer of 2012. On an individual basis, people yet have time to stock up on essential food supplies, that are yet relatively cheap in developed countries, especially the US and Canada. I believe we will see the day in the next 4-5 years when food will be more valuable than gold. On this program recorded on Jan. 11, 2011, the main topic of discussion was the definition of the word 'Christian'. The title of 'Christian' is applied all too loosely by people to describe their religious affiliations. As noted in my previous entry, LOOKING BACK TO LOOK AHEAD…, future events that have been expected by many to precede ‘The End of the World’ seem no longer to be in the future in 2011. Instead of looking ahead to calculate when the events of prophecy might be fulfilled, it appears the time has now come to look at current events and calculate how many of them are indicative of prophetic signs being fulfilled right before our eyes. I have stressed repeatedly that from a Biblical perspective, ‘The End of the World’ does not mean the end of the planet Earth although the planet will experience much catastrophic ‘natural’, ‘supernatural’ and ‘manmade’ destruction before the end finally arrives. In the past I have written much on the Biblical meaning of the term, ‘The End of the World’. For those who have not read my continuing series, ‘Is this the end of the world?’ I would recommend that they read the whole series carefully, and listen to the many audio interviews I have recorded with various hosts these past few months. This will help readers and listeners gain a proper perspective, rather a Biblical perspective, of what is currently transpiring, and what we may expect to see in the coming months and years. 

2011, in my estimation, will be a watershed year as far as the fulfillment of prophecy is concerned. All of the prophecies of the book of Revelation and other prophetic scriptures will not be fulfilled in 2011, but this year, more than any other so far, will set the stage for a rapid fulfillment of ‘all these things’ in coming years. My last blog at the end of 2010 was titled ‘2011 Predictions’; for the rest of this year and for as long as this blog will be online I will gather as many News reports and other pertinent information as possible that would indicate that the signs of the ‘End of the World’ given by The Lord Jesus are being fulfilled.  This blog will be used extensively to evaluate current events from a prophetic perspective; it will be updated weekly with relevant Media reports compared to Biblical prophecy. 2011 Predictions - Audio updates

With heavy snow blanketing the Eastern seaboard of North America once again and with other parts of the world being buffeted by ‘Extreme Weather’, I decided to look back at some of the articles I posted on weather related topics on my blog going back to autumn of 2009. I was surprised to see how many articles I had posted on the topics of ‘Extreme Weather’, and ‘Weather Modification; links to some of the articles on these topics are provided below; these are by no means all the articles I have written on these topics in the past 18 months or so. Our planet suffered under some of the most ‘Extreme Weather’ conditions in 2010, the Haiti Earthquake alone killed, injured and maimed more people than any other catastrophic weather event in the past couple hundred years, including the 2004 tsunami. Although we are less than two weeks into 2011, it would appear that this year will be even more catastrophic, weather wise, than 2010. Parts of Queensland, Australia are under 60 feet of water, and parts of the United States under 20 feet of snow. For those who have eyes to see and ears to hear, these are the days of preparing ourselves for more frequent events of this nature, and of greater magnitude. There is no way to prepare to meet the rapidly deteriorating climate conditions of our planet without first being prepared to meet our Maker. If we are at peace with God, the fearful events that will overtake the world faster and faster will neither surprise us nor frighten us. What we witnessed in 2010 and are witnessing with even more clarity in 2011 are signs that the days of the judgment of God upon the whole world are close at hand; believe it and save your souls; don’t believe and suffer the consequences. I believe that what we have seen so far is only a preview of that which is to come. The days of ‘FEARFUL SIGHTS’ and ‘GREAT SIGNS FROM HEAVEN’ are yet to come. Read some or all of the articles from the past 15 months or so and judge for yourself if the events that were predicted to happen back in 2009 and 2010 have not happened as forecast, and are continuing to happen faster than ever before, ARE YOU READY for the fearful sights that will be seen across the world this year and in years to come?

Just the fact that we can read such a headline, 'THIS WEEK IN DEAD ANIMALS' tells me that our world is changing rapidly and catastrophically. If such events are normal as some of the mainstream press would have us believe, then reports of such anomalous happenings will disappear from the News. However, it is more likely that both the magnitude and frequency of such events, as well as 'extreme weather events' will increase in the months and years ahead. 2011 seems to have started with a bang, I wonder what else it holds in store for the world. These past 8 months a worldwide phenomenon has emerged where tens of millions of fish and marine life have died and washed ashore all over the world. It is possible that tens of millions more may have perished in seas far from coastal areas. Just in the past few days, a similar catastrophe is striking birds in regions of the world that are separated geographically by thousands of miles. What on earth and the seas and the skies is going on? In my entire life I have never heard so many reports of so much destruction of animal life in such a short period of time. Are these signs of trauma to the planet from unknown sources? Are these harbingers of that which may soon befall mankind? These are strange times we are living in, and they seem to be getting stranger by the day! I do not know the cause of these fish and birds dying off but I suspect that we will witness a great many more such catastrophic events in the months and years ahead. Although the 'Expert' being interviewed in the News Report makes it sound like millions of fish dying off are a normal occurrence, I would be skeptical of accepting such a simplistic explanation given the fact that the Maryland event was just one of many that have been occurring regularly this past year or so. Is there any connection to the Gulf oil disaster that has conveniently disappeared from the News? No one knows for sure but to me such strange happenings are anything but 'normal'. It has been foretold in scripture that the Lord God will show signs in the heavens above, and the earth beneath.... We can expect to see even stranger things in the near future that will signal the return of the Lord Jesus Christ to Earth.

Acts 2:19 And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke: 20 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and notable day of the Lord come: 21 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Dear Readers: I am busy getting some equipment and software organized for future updates. I plan on doing more Video / Audio updates rather than just written articles. In the meantime I will post some news reports that are relevant to the  ongoing series, Is this the end of the World? In my understanding of Biblical prophecy, I have come to the conclusion that the end of the world as we know must begin with a complete collapse of our present economic system. Therefore most of these News Reports will detail the oncoming 'Economic Catastrophe' that is forever changing our world as never before in history. At this time in history the stage is being set for the fulfillment of Bible prophecies such as that of the mark of the beast heralding a one world government and a one world economy. I hope to start a You Tube channel soon to do frequent video updates. Stay tuned....
