The Purpose of Creation – Part 2: Why does evil exist?

Those of us who are naturally curious have the desire to understand our world, and the purpose of our lives. We desire to understand the powers that exercise near absolute control over our world. We know that there are cartels that control finance, energy, medicine etc. on the planet as well as the real hidden powers behind these cartels that actually pull the strings. Whether its the Vatican or the royals or the Jesuits or even if the controllers come from beyond the human dimension involving the reptilians, the aliens, the sons of God etc. that are pulling the planetary strings is of a great deal of curiosity to us. However, having studied all the available information if we conclude that the aforementioned human / non-human ‘controllers’ are independent powers then we would quickly realize that we have neither the tools nor the resources to combat these hidden masters of society. If there is no power that controls these ‘controllers’ then we may as well give up and roll over and die. I contend that all these creatures are anything but ‘Independent Powers’. We must needs keep in mind the fact that whoever they are, they are creatures, they are not the Self – Existent Great I AM, who is Jehovah, God the Creator of all things. The Bible clearly teaches that there is only one Creator but there are many creatures, including man, that lust to exalt themselves to the heights of the Creator. This lust for power did not begin with man but in a powerful angelic being identified in the Bible as the ‘Anointed cherub’. Please write my article ‘Did God create evil? and the ‘Mystery of the sons of God’ – part 2 B for a synopsis of the origin and rise of evil in the Universe.
I have written many times in the past, and recorded radio programs on the subject of the origin of ‘EVIL’. EVIL exists because it serves a purpose for God who is the Creator of all things including evil and evil-doers. Jesus said that it must needs be that offenses come - why must it needs be so??? Proverbs tells us that GOD has created the wicked for Himself - why??? Isaiah tells us the LORD God creates evil - why???
  • Matthew 18:7 Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh!
  • Proverbs 16:4 The LORD hath made all things for himself: yea, even the wicked for the day of evil.
  •  Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Without understanding the origin and the purpose of the existence of evil, it is impossible to understand God, or the purposes for which He Created all things. Without evil it is not possible to understand the INNER HIDDEN CHARACTER of God. One can understand that He is powerful by studying the physical creation such as the sun, moon and the stars. This power was visible and apparent even to the angels and other creatures that existed prior to the age in which modern man, Adam was created. They could see that God had the knowledge and the power to stretch out the heavens, to form the planets and the stars, and even intelligent life. What they could not see or understand was that God is Love, that He is Kind, that He is Just, that He is Gracious, that He is Patient and Longsuffering, that He is Gentle... there existed no means for them to look inside the heart of God so that they could understand Him as He has always desired to be understood.  Had the ‘Anointed cherub’ of Ezekiel 28, and the other angelic and non- angelic creatures of that time understood the INVISIBLE Spiritual Power of God's Character as opposed to His VISIBLE physical power, they would have never rebelled against Him. At some point in time in the distant past, the ‘Anointed cherub’ concluded that God's power rested on His creative abilities rather than His nature, which is LOVE. GOD IS LOVE the Bible tells us, and it is for the purpose of demonstrating this Love that evil had to arise.
  • 1 John3:16 Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us…without evil God could not have laid down His life, thereby demonstrating His greatest power, that of Love.
Until evil came, God could not demonstrate any of His goodness, such as His kindness, His Mercy, His Patience because in the absence of evil, none of his creatures did anything that demanded judgment, so it was impossible for God to show them His mercy. So the cherubim, the angels and the ‘sons of God’, who inhabited God’s creation in the first ages of creation could not even begin to understand God’s love, and therefore they could not possibly understand Him. Not understanding God’s Love, the ‘Anointed cherub’, the father of evil in the Universe determined that he himself was not lacking in similar powers and abilities (given to him by God) and that he could overthrow God and become the ruler of the galaxies, over the heavens and the Universe. This story of the ‘Anointed cherub’ is told in a twisted manner in the Star Wars series where the Senator Palatine is gradually transformed into the evil emperor through his lust for power.
So the ‘Anointed cherub’ did end up becoming evil but he did not become the Emperor of the Universe and never will. He failed to realize, till it was too late, that God had created him with this very specific end in mind – that one day he would become the adversary of God, (the opposer and the opposite of God) would fill the heavens and the Earth with his lies (about God), his hatred for all things (above all for himself) and the darkness of his (now Godless) soul). And it is his lies, his hatred and his darkness that would make the TRUTH of God, The LOVE of God and the LIGHT of God to become visible to all of God’s creatures, but to man in particular.
The stories of Adam and that of the ‘Anointed cherub’ have a great many parallels:
  • They were both created by God.
  • They both were originally placed in Eden (meaning Paradise.) It is more than likely that the Eden of Adam was built upon the very same site that once was the Paradise that the ‘Anointed cherub’ had walked upon in a previous ages, known in mythology as the ‘Golden Age’. (Ezekiel 28:13 Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God.) Please listen to the Chronology of Creation, and Pre – Adamic civilizations audio series to learn the history of the ages that predate Adam and modern day man.
  • They were both destined to fail, that is to fall from their original states. The fall of man was necessary for him to become mortal, a state from which God could only rescue him by giving his own life, thereby make possible for man to have eternal life, and to perceive the love of his Creator for him at the same time. The origin of evil and mortality were not an aberration or a mistake on God’ part. God planned for these things to happen exactly as they did. Please listen carefully and repeatedly to the audio series ‘Ye shall be as gods’ for the plan of creation from the beginning.
  • They were both given knowledge about the physical world around them, a limited amount of knowledge in the case of Adam but almost unlimited in the case of ‘Anointed cherub’ Ezekiel 28:12 … Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty. There was a reason why God gave the ‘Anointed cherub’ as much knowledge and power as He gave him. The evil genius of the ‘Anointed cherub’ / had to be on a divine scale for he was destined to be the opposite of God; his evil had to match the goodness of God. Please read the following two articles, ‘The mystery of the sons of God – were they angels?, Part 2A and Part 2B for detailed exposition of the sins of the ‘Anointed cherub’ in Ezekiel 28, and of Lucifer in Isaiah 14.
In conclusion I will say that without evil it is impossible to understand the nature, and the character of God. And without understanding his character, it is impossible to be molded into His image, to become identical in character to Him. It is through a long and painful process that it has become possible for God’s creatures to understand Him as He understands them. This is what provides the basis for a satisfying and fulfilling relationship between The Creator and His creation; they understand each other. And all this became possible because evil entered God’s creation through the ‘Anointed cherub’ just as God planned it should. So have no fear, God has not lost control over His creation; He is fully in control as He has been since the beginning. This complex subject needs much study and will continue to be written and discussed in my writings and recordings for a long time to come.
To be continued…
